as limited edition prints. Each hand stenciled print measure
24"x18" and is printed on stonehenge paper. The

GALLERY 1988 - Los Angeles, CA - December

The first is at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles, CA. It's a group
show titled Devil Town and is curated by Daniel Danger. The
show opens on December 2nd and runs through the 24th. I created
2 new original pieces on canvas for the show. 18 hand cut
stencils between the 2 pieces. Details on the new pieces will

BLACK BOOK GALLERY - Denver, CO - December 10 - 30
The second show is at Black Book Gallery here in my home town
of Denver, Colorado. Its a group show titled Mile High and
Rising. The show opens on Saturday December 10th and will
run through the end of the month. The show will feature a
bunch of great local artists. I am creating 2 new pieces for
the show. The pieces are similar to my Vintage Spray print
in theme and the three pieces together will form a triptych
set of "Cans". The 3 pieces on display in the show
will be originals on stretched canvas. More information on

Seal of Approval & UIC Chicago Prints are now available
online Seal of Approval and UIC Chicago prints are available
in the online store for $40 (shipped anywhere). There is also
a combo pack which includes both prints for $60 (shipped anywhere).
I also put up the remaining special editions of the UIC Chicago
prints. Thanks to everyone that came out to Mock Show in Chicago.

3 New Prints! I recently finished 3 new stencil and spraypaint
prints all with a Chicago theme. The new 2011 Solidarity in
Chicago print was created using a brand new set of smaller
hand cut stencils created from the same picture I used to
create Solidarity 1. Solidarity in Chicago II will be offered
as a custom edition where you can choose the sky colors or
leave them up to me. These prints will be available at
the online store this Wednesday
August 10th at 10am Mountain Time USA. The "Seal
of Approval" and "UIC Chicago" prints will
both be released at Mock Show in Chicago, IL on August 16th.

Stencil Mural and workshop at the Mountain Dew Voltage Allstar
Party!
A few Saturdays ago Mtn Dew flew me to Chicago to create a
stencil mural and run a stencil workshop as part of the Voltage

Benefit MS Society
My latest print run was created for an upcoming MS Benefit
event in Williamsburg, VA. Each of the 20 prints in the edition
are unique color schemes with hand finishing. 15 prints will
be available at the event in Williamsburg as well as online

Earth Day Tree 2011 - Available on Earth Day this Friday April
22.
Earth Day Tree 2011 is my third annual tree print to be release
for Earth Day. This years print was created using 2 hand cut
stencils and spraypaint. Each print is hand sprayed on 15"
x 30" Stonehendge paper. The edition of 40 prints will
all be custom, where you get to choose the colors in the print.
I provided a few samples of different
colors here. But you are welcome to be creative and make up
your own color scheme. Prints come signed, numbered, embossed
and with a hand made certificate of authenticity (COA). Earth

New Print - Philadelphia Skyline available Friday
My latest print is of the Philadelphia city skyline. The 30"
x 22" print was created using 6 hand cut stencils and
spraypaint on stonhenge paper. Philadelphia skyline will be
a custom edition of 40 prints, where you get to choose the
sky colors. Each print will come signed, numbered, embossed
and with a hand made Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The
print will be on display along with some of my other art at
PhilaMOCA Gallery in Philadelphia as part of their March Group
show opening on March 25th. Artists in the show include David
Welker, Nate Duval, AJ Masthay, Bruce Horan, Jon Blake and
myself.

"Waiting to Make
the Move" - Originals on Concrete!
In addition to the prints I recently finished for InsideTheRockPosterFrame
I also created a few pieces on concrete. Yep, concrete! I
mixed up a batch of quikcrete with wood glue and a few other
agents to help hold it all together. Next the concrete mixture
was poured on the stretched canvases and wood boxes. I smoothed
it out with my hand and let them dry for 2 days. Finally I
stenciled the image on top. The concrete canvases measure
12" x 24" x 2" and will be available in a unique
edition of 3. The concrete wood pieces measure 12" x
16" x 1" and come in an edition of 2. All of the
pieces will be "ready to hang". Available on Wednesday
March 16th at 10am Mountain Time USA here in the 'Available
Art' section of the site.

New Print - "Waiting
to Make the Move" - InsidetheRockPosterFrame
Exclusive
I recently finished up this new exclusive print for InsideTheRockPosterFrame
Blog. The print titled. "Waiting to Make the Move"
was created using 6 handcut stencils and Ironlak brand spraypaint.
It measures 16" x 20" on Stonehenge paper with a
deckled bottom edge and comes in a limited edition of only
20 hand sprayed prints. I used glow in the dark spraypaint
on the print so the sky and outline of the statue glow at
night. Waiting to Make the Move will be available at InsideTheRockPosterFrame's

Happy New Year from IansPrints.com! 2010 was a great year. I was able to release 30 art
prints and created 16 original pieces over the past year.
I am very excited for 2011 and have some really great art
in store for the upcoming year. I am starting off 2011 with
a new business card design and a brand new logo emboss for
my prints. A second disc golf related print is in the works
along with a triptych print set inspired by Colorado native
animals. Thanks to everyone that has helped support my art
